Роль релігійного фактору в історії старосхідних цивілізацій: до історіографії питання

Abstract

У статті здійснено аналіз робіт сучасних українських дослідників з історії Стародавнього Сходу. Пріоритетним напрямком сходознавчих досліджень в українській історичній науці є питання релігійних уявлень та світосприйняття старосхідного населення та впливу релігійного чинника на політичне, соціально-економічне і культурне життя народів Стародавнього Сходу. Причому, більшість вітчизняних істориків зосереджує увагу на особливостях релігійного життя стародавніх єгиптян та народів Месопотамії. З’ясовано, що у зв’язку з важкодоступністю першоджерел, українські дослідники у своїх висновках спираються переважно на здобутки зарубіжних колег.The article analyzes the works of modern Ukrainian researchers on the history of the Ancient East. Priority oriental studies in Ukrainian historical scholarship is the question of religious beliefs and attitudes of the Ancient East population and the influence of the religious factor in the political, socio-economic and cultural life of the peoples of the Ancient East. Moreover, most historians focus on the specifics of the religious life of the ancient Egyptians and the peoples of Mesopotamia. It is shown that due to the inaccessibility of primary sources, Ukrainian researchers in their conclusions rely mainly on the achievements of international colleagues.
