Динаміка особливостей релігійних найменувань у зверненому мовленні українців

Abstract

Стверджується, що звертання до Бога та Матері Божої в українському художньому мовленні фіксує традицію «тикання» та добре розвинену експлікаційну теонімну сітку, а перехід їх до вигуків та перші соціально- регулятивні «викання» до однієї особи священика помічені у творах ХVІІІ ст. Дослідник характеризує формування негативної конотації лексеми піп.The researcher studied the influence of sociohistorical and cultural factors on addressing clerics in the literary texts of different times, and argues that references to God and Our Lady reveal consistent tradition of tutoyering, vocative flections and developed explicating grid of theonyms. Emerged in the eighteenth century, transition of vocatives into exclamations has been often accompanied by the creation of diminutives. Besides, the first instances of socialregulatory formal addressing an individual belonging to the Christian ministerial order are observed in eighteenth-century writings. There were occurrences of switching from respectful addressing to tutoyering, the use of unceremonious forms pope, batya, papasha, omission of vocative endings peculiar to the period of atheism propagation and russianization of the Soviet society. We assume that the formation of negative connotation and familiarity of lexeme піп commenced much long before the twentieth century, since earlier texts evidence limited vocative none alongside with active functioning of other case forms of this lexeme.
