Особливості репрезентації слова в лексикографічній праці з позиції корпусної лінгвістики

Abstract

Дослідження показує те, як власне корпуси текстів та відповідні сучасні дослідження в лексикології та лексикографії можуть вплинути на формування нового покоління корпусно-орієнтованих словників. Порушено питання про те, що таке слово і як його корпусне дослідження може вплинути на репрезентацію його характеристик у словнику. The article represents the difference that a corpus and corresponding advances in lexicology and lexicography can make to form new generation of corpus-based dictionaries. The author raises the question of what the word is and how corpus study can influence the representation of all its features in the dictionary. In particular, five aspects of a word, which are mostly claimed about while a dictionary is being used, are discussed. The users of a dictionary mostly look for the answers to such questions concerning a word: what this word means, what it is associated with, which meaning it is associated with, which grammatical functions the word is associated with, and how this word functions in a text. The analysis of corpus-based dictionaries is conducted and the examples of the influence of the corpus study is provided.
