Venture capital investments – current trends and development factors

Abstract

The article examines the peculiarities of venture capital investment in Ukraine at the present stage, taking into account the world experience, namely: the essence and specifics of venture capital are considered; the main factors influencing the develop- ment of the venture capital industry are presented; the main trends in the growth of the scale and directions of venture capital financing are analyzed. Based on the regu- latory framework, the main reasons that impede the intensification of venture capital investment in Ukraine are identified.
