Abstract
Розглянуто теоретичні аспекти формування закордонної діаспори. Наведено визначення понять «діаспора» та «українська діаспора». Визначено шляхи її формування. Виділено характерні риси діаспори. Проведено аналіз її ознак та функцій.
The theoretical aspects of diaspora formation are reviewed. Definitions of «diaspora» and «Ukrainian diaspora» are given. Ways of their formation are determined. The main features of diaspora distinguished. Analysis of its features and functions is carried out.
