"Варвари ХХ століття": переоцінка традиційного образу німецької культури в Росії на початку Першої світової війни

Abstract

Досліджуються особливості формування образу німецької культури російськими інтелектуалами на початку Першої світової війни. Аналізуються публіцистичні та історіографічні джерела як інструмент ведення Росією «інформаційної війни» в контексті тогочасної «історичної культури».The design features an image of German culture Russian publicist, historians, philosophers, literary critics at the beginning World War I is investigated in this article. The publicistic and the historiographical sources as a weapon of Russia in «information war» are analyzed in the context of «historical culture». The changes in the perception of German culture from «an example to follow» to the «barbaric culture of militarism» are traced. Exactly during the World War I the question about the significance and influence of German philosophy, history of science, literature on Russian intellectuals and society in general are raised. It is concluded about the revaluation of the traditional way of «German teachers» who in wartime propaganda were ideologists of militarism and had no relation to the «world culture».
