Концептуальна репрезентація уявлень про старість в українському лінгвокультурному просторі: базові характеристики

Abstract

У статті розглянуто особливості концептуальної репрезентації уявлень про старість в українському лігво- культурному просторі із залученням текстів малих жанрово-композиційних форм; визначено склад, структуру та особливості семантики номінацій, належних до лексико-семантичної підгрупи «старі люди»; виокремлено особливу роль та історичну тяглість семантики назв, що містять корінь стар-. In the article the features of the conceptual representation of notions about oldness in Ukrainian linguistic-cultural space involving texts of small genre-compositional forms are considered; determined the composition, structure and semantics features of nominations, that belongs to the lexical-semantic subgroup of «old people»; reviewed their significance for the value-semantic categorization of the world and functional role in the construction of individual fragments of the national language picture of the world; noted that the majority of compo- nents of the analyzed subgroups demonstrate the expressive feature; accentuated on the special role of names, that are containing the morpheme стар-; characterized linguistic-cultural implications that are reflected in the Ukrainian proverbs, idioms, riddles and characterize a person in terms of experience, knowledge, presence or absence of physical strength and social status etc.; noted the historical continuity of the semantics of peculiar nominations; it also giving an attempt to explain the linguistic-cultural determinants of the respectful usage of different nominations to old men.
