Художні моделі по-роз-двоєної ідентичності в новелах «Голос здалека» Юрія Косача та «Ціна людської назви» Ігоря Костецького

Abstract

Розглянуто проблему множинної ідентичності в новелах «Голос здалека» Юрія Косача та «Ціна людської назви» Ігоря Костецького. Зокрема, увагу зосереджено на художній інтерпретації цієї проблеми й моделях функціонування ідентичності в тексті. Виокремлено та проаналізовано бінарне двійництвопротагоністичних героїв і семіотичні коди – означники антагоністичних «Я»-персонажів. The article deals with the problem of multipleidentity in the stories «The voice from afar» by Yuri Kosachand «The price of the human name» by Igor Kostetsky – Ukrainian emigrant writers, members of the literary organization MUR (1945–1949) (Мистецький Український Рух [ArtisticUkrainianMovement]), representatives of PD literature. Namely, the attention is paid to artistic interpretation of this problem and its realization by authors. There are two main principles, based on which, the writers form their vision of the duality of the human «I». Firstly, it is the double identity, actually, characters are copies of themselves, what allows to label them as protagonists. Second, identity is regarded as a confrontational and splitidentity, and the character(s)–carrier(s) of that identity type, were signified as antagonists. The article analyzes the specific models of binary duality of protagonist heroes. Also, we demonstrated main semiotic codes, used to describe the antagonistic «I» of characters.
