Василь Щурат про українську «простонародну» пісню

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано праці В. Щурата, у яких автор розкрив історію розвитку української пісні від найдавніших часів, детально описав і проаналізував галицькі придворні капели і хори кінця XVIII – початку XIX ст./ The article analyzes the works of Schurat in which the author revealed the history of Ukrainian songs from ancient times, described in detail and analyzed Galician court chapels and choirs within the late XVIII − early XIX centuries. There are given names of songs and performers of Ukrainian songs in the XVI−XVIII centuries. There are also traced vision of the scientist concerning the possibility of practical use of Ukrainian folk, namely, songs publication of literary calendars in 1822 and 1823, published in German and Polish Lviv, the value of folk songs. Also it is provided an information about researching of Ukrainian songs at the time.
