Етнокультурні традиції мисливського промислу Житомирського Полісся

Abstract

У статті, на основі польових етнографічних матеріалів схарактеризовано місце мисливського промислу в структурі господарської діяльності населення Ємільчинського й Новоград-Волинського районів Житомирської області. Простежено основні тенденції в розвитку мисливства в другій пол. ХХ – поч. ХХІ ст.; проаналізовано динаміка мисливської фауни; висвітлено основні способи полювання на дичину.The article is based on the field ethnographic materials, gathered during the expedition of the State Scientific Center for Protection of Cultural Heritage Against Industrial Disasters, and deals with the place of hunting in the structure of the household activities of inhabitants of Emilchinskogo and Novograd-Volhynia region of the Zhytomyr area. It is spoken in detail about the basic tendencies in the development of hunting in the second half of the XX century - beginning of the XXI century. In that period hunting changed from the supporting activity into the amateurish one.
