Внутрішньорегіональні особливості трансформації вікової структури населення Луганської області

Abstract

Статтю присвячено актуальній проблемі трансформації вікової структури населення Луганської області в пострадянський період. На основі просторово-часового аналізу демографічних ситуацій 1989, 2001 і 2012 рр. виявлено тенденції, особливості та територіальні відмінності динаміки основних вікових категорій населення та інших характеристик вікової структури – середнього віку населення, демографічного навантаження – за регіонами Луганської області. Установлено загальний регресивний тренд трансформації типу вікової структури для більшості регіонів, а в географічному аспекті – зменшення варіативності вікової структури. Наголошено на потребі розробити регіональну демографічну політику, яка має бути комплексною й системною й відповідати стратегічним напрямам розвитку регіону. The article is devoted to the topical problem of the population age structure transformation in Lugansk region in the post-Soviet period. Based on the spatiotemporal analyses of the demographic situations in 1989, 2001 and 2012 years, the tendencies, the peculiarities, and the territorial distinctions of the dynamics of the major population age categories and the other features of the age structure (the average age of the population, the population pressure) by Lugansk region regions have been determined. The overall regressive trend of the age structure type transformation for most regions and, in the geographic aspect, the decrease of variation in the age structure have been specified. The necessity of development of the regional demographic policy that should be complex and system, and correspond to the strategic development trends of the region has been stressed.
