Роль дерев’яної архітектури у формуванні культурно-естетичного середовища Кременця ХІХ століття

Abstract

У статті проаналізовано передумови виникнення та становлення волинського містечка на потужного мистецького осередку, з’ясовано значення втраченої забудови єврейського кварталу у формуванні історичного обліку міста Кременець. Розглянуто специфіку виникнення та розвитку дерев’яної архітектури центральної частини міста в контексті культурологічних процесів Волині ХІХ століття. Визначено специфічні особливості міської архітектури, яка стає популярним джерелом натхнення для письменників, митців, дослідників як явище, що притаманне виключно цьому краю. Розкрито вплив середовища та роду діяльності населення на характер архітектури, розглянуто основні риси її структурних елементів.The article analyzes the reasons of rise and formation of the Volyn town as a powerful art centre, clears up the significance of the lost buildings of the Jewish town block in formation of the historical town image. It also examines the peculiarity of the origin and development of wooden architecture in the central part of the town connected with cultural processes in the Volyn region of the XIX century. The article determines the specific features of the town architecture, which becomes a huge source of inspiration for writers, artists, researchers as the phenomenon peculiar to this region only. It shows the influence of the surrounding and a sort of activity of the population upon the architecture, main features of structural elements of the shtetl (Jewish town block).
