Історія дослідження заболочених ґрунтів Волинської області

Abstract

Необхідність дослідження осушених гідроморфних ґрунтів зумовлена значним їх поширенням та наслідками великомасштабної меліорації. У статті ми розглянули етапи осушувальної меліорації заболочених ґрунтів Волинської області та їх результати починаючи з другої половини ХІХ століття. Таким чином, аналізуючи багаторічну історію вивчення гідроморфних ґрунтів ми виділити найбільш важливі, на нашу думку, результати. Наше дослідження продовжує традицію вивчення гідроморфних ґрунтів Волині. У зв'язку з цим ми вважаємо за необхідне проаналізувати аспекти, що запропоновані у статті.

Need of drained hydromorphic soils study is caused by their considerable spread and effects of their large-scale melioration. The original dream of Polesian peasants was the reconquest of fertile land from marshes of Polessian lowland which were considered a promising region for agriculture and the idea to drain these vast expanses for a long time attracted scientists of various fields. Swamps were the main stimulus of the study of Polissya history, firstly as a forage land, and later - as reserve land fund. In the article the periods of melioration of waterlogged soils of Volyn region and their results since the second half of the XIX century were discussed. Thus, analyzing the long history of the study of hydromorphic soils, the most important results were highlighted. The article research continues to explore the tradition of hydromorphic soils of Volyn region. In this regard, analysis of the aspects proposed in the article are necessary.
