Європа як концепт

Abstract

У статті зроблено спробу розглянути Європу як соціокультурний концепт. Показано, що концепт у своєму статусі мислеформи є синкретичною ціннісно-образно-понятійною цілісністю. Водночас концепт – це спосіб по¬чаткового усвідомлення людиною певного явища. Синкретичність концепту зумовлена тим, що його склад-ники (різні форми духовно-практичного осягнення суті Європи та європейськості) ще не викристалі¬зувались у своїй сутності. Усі ці компоненти в їх єдності виявляють як ставлення людини до Європи і європейськості, так і переживання цього ставлення. Доведено, що тим чинником, який єднає це синкретичне утворення в певну цілісність, є ідея. Увага акцентується на функціональній структурі концепту. Ґрунтуючись на ідеях Юлії Суржинської, зроблено попередню спробу аналітики формування та інтерпретацій концепту «Європа» на індивідуально-особистісному та колективному рівнях свідомості. This paper attempts to consider Europe as a socio-cultural concept. It is shown that concept in its status of thought-form is a syncretic and figurative integrity of understanding some phenomenon by human. The syncretic concept due to the fact that its structures (various forms of spiritual and practical comprehension of the essence of Europe) have not yet crystallized into meaning. All these components show their unity of human understanding and experience of Europe and European identity as well. We prove that idea is the factor that binds this formation into certain unity. In the current article we focused on the functional structure of the concept. This postion is based on the idea of four levels in concept that was suggested by Yulia Surzhynska. We interpreted the concept Europe on personal and collective levels of consciousness in the light of Surzhynska’s idea.
