Василіанські монастирі як осередки релігійної ідентичності українців (остання чверть XVIIІ ст. − 30-ті роки ХІХ ст.)

Abstract

У дослідженні висвітлюється вплив василіанських монастирів на формування релігійної ідентичності українського народу. Проведено теоретичний аналіз поняття «релігійна ідентичність», показано крізь призму історії чину процес формування релігійної ідентичності українського народу навколо останнього. Проаналізо-вано вплив душпастирської та культурно-освітньої діяльності монахів-василіан на процеси формування релігійної свідомості та довіри різних прошарків суспільства до них.The study highlights the impact of basilian monasteries on the formation of the religious identity of the Ukrainian people. There is also shown a theoretical analysis of the concepts of «religious identity», «identity», «national identity», «people», «ethnic group». It is also submitted by search phase the religious identity in Ukrainian society in the ratio between the three religion branches: Roman Catholics, Greek Orthodox and Orthodox, which was caused by socio-cultural transformations as a result of the partitions of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth and the occurrence of the lands of the Russian Empire. In the article it is described the development and spread of the Order of st. Basil the Great on the lands of right-bank of Ukraine in the end of 18th early 19th century, reveals his missionary and pastoral feature.
