Польська поліція в Олиці між двома світовими війнами: організація та діяльність

Abstract

У статті на основі маловідомих документів із фондів Державного архіву Волинської області висвітлено функціонування польської державної поліції в Олиці в 1919–1939 рр. Особливу увагу звернуто на організаційну структуру та основні напрями діяльності. In the article, based on little-known documents from the funds of the State Archive of the Volyn Region, is highlighted the functioning of the Polish State Police in Olyka in 1919–1939. Particular attention is paid to the organizational structure and main areas of activity. It was established that the Polish State Police in Olyka between the two world wars were represented by two posts (administrative and railway), each of which had about 5–7 employees. Practical activity of the police was mainly carried out by patrolling the service area. Law enforcers monitored the sanitary state of the Olyka, conducted searches regarding deserters, countered various types of criminality, watched the individuals and socio-political life in general in order to identify the disloyal people to the current government, as well as to neutralize the members of the communist and ukrainian nationalist underground.
