Політика радянської влади щодо музейних закладів західних областей України в 1939–1941 рр.

Abstract

У статті досліджено особливості розвитку музейної справи західноукраїнського регіону в період утвердження тут на початку Другої світової війни радянської влади. Висвітлено процес реорганізації новою владою музейних закладів, націоналізації колекцій, кадрових перестановок, наслідки, що їх зазнали музеї в результаті такої політики.The article studies the development peculiarities of museums in regions of western Ukraine under the ideological pressure of the communist system. It discloses a process of reorganization of the museum network, nationalization of private and museum collections, and personnel changes performed by new authorities. It emphasizes the consequences of these actions, such as mass looting of national treasures, as well as the dispersion of museum collections. As a result of the Reformation according to the All-Union model museum network greatly decreased in quantitative indicators. The article analyzes Bolsheviks policy towards museum workers in regions, their role in the socialist construction of the museum.
